As a thank you, all of you watchers get to vote (in this journal) for the final Simpsons female of the series I'm drawing.
Please respond here with the name of the character you want to see as the last character!
The only rules are:
1) She can't already be in my gallery, or in the upcoming list
2) From a small bit part to main character, she (female) has to be from the Simpsons
Upcoming drawings are these:
Ashley Grant (Almost completed)
Helen Lovejoy (About halfway done)
Manjula (About halfway done)
Booberella
Alison Taylor
Princess Kashmir
Bernice Hibbert
Bart's Ballet Teacher
Nikki McKenna
(bonus) Titania
......
Since and have been super supportive for a long time, their votes count twice. All other watchers' votes count once! If you're not a watcher but want to vote, you can add a watch and vote
----
ETA on that final drawing--about the third week of April (when the other drawings will be done).
Again... the only requirement for you to vote is to be a watcher!
(By the way this is not a poll because I didn't have a way to restrict it to a group. Simply write your vote as a response/comment to the journal)
Thanks guys!

Questions for Artists
If there were no social media, would you still draw?
Do you copy other artists' works--even just for practice--and then post them here or on Instagram?
Do you go to artists' Discord servers?
Slowly piecing things together
What the title says. Art journey has led me into the weeds a few times; but I've come to some important realizations:
No matter who you are, you have to sort of find the path to improvement yourself
There's an effective way to practice
The role that analysis plays in practice
Finding and keeping motivation
All of this stuff plays off each other and there are answers. If you're an artist and are interested, stay in touch. I'm working on some videos explaining things.
New art coming before the end of the year.
Ever get physically ill looking at art?
So Hi... Hello! Good to see everyone again after a long time away.
Recently trying to get inspired again by some art. Trying to find the one or two styles that when I look at them make me want to pick up a pencil and draw again. Aside from the usual suspects (Disney and others) I haven't found too much out there that excites me... and it's becoming harder to find inspiring things. (With the exception of the work of Carlos Gomes Cabral, which looks spectacular.
Do you understand the concept of Google pollution or "search pollution?" Basically it means that certain types of things become virtually impossible to find via Google because the key
Christmas Controversy
Some controversy for Christmas.
"Yes, it IS personal."
Remember the discussion artists often have with their critics--when confronted with "this sucks" and the artist defends her/himself with "it's just my style?" Remember how we're supposed to respond to this?
"No, it just sucks. It's nothing personal."
Yes, it IS personal.
There are two forms of criticism an artist can receive; technical feedback--the kind of feedback that doesn't tear down the essence of the art piece, but tries to improve the piece as is, and the type of feedback that just says "this isn't good--despite how technically well done it might be."
Let me preface this by
